CANYONING GOURS DU RAY – GORGES DU LOUP VALLEY – GREOLIERES

The Gours du Ray is a very nice canyon close to Greolieres in the Gorges du Loup valley

You’ll find there in the Gorges du Loup everything you expect in canyoneering like jumps, slides and rappelling. And accessible, even for kids from about 7 or 8 years.

From the village of Greolieres you just have to drive 5 minutes to get to the carpark. From there 10 minutes of easy walk down to the Loup river and there, after have listening to the explanations given by your guide, you’ll start the way down the river.

The Gorges du Loup are a good place to discover canyoning in family or with friends far from the crowd of the french riviera.

At the end of the river the way going back up to the cars takes 25 minutes. All together it takes about 3 hours, a real half day of activity.

The canyon of Gours du Ray, in the well known Loup Valley is really nice and will provide you a great canyoning experience.

If you want to do more jumps I suggest you the canyon of the Gorges du Loup lower in the valley but it might be much more crowdy depending on the season and the day of the week.
