CANYONING MAGLIA – ROYA VALLEY – BREIL SUR ROYA

The Maglia canyoning is one of the most beautiful and sportive canyon of the French Riviera. It’s close to Menton in the Roya Valley just after the village of Breil sur Roya.

If you have heard about canyoning you must have heard the name of Maglia, this river is the most well known river for canyoning activities in south of France. People from many countries come here to discover it.

It’s simple, fresh turquoise water, many jumps, many impressive slides and rappelLing (abseiling), in a cave too. What is great is that everything goes smooth.

Of course this canyon of Maglia is a sportive one and we don’t take there kids under 12 years. Also it’s better to have done some other canyons before like the canyon of the Gorges du Loup or the one of la Bollene in the Vesubie valley. You will enjoy more if you are train to do abseiling, jumps and slides easily.

If you have one canyon to do in south of France, it’s the canyon to do.

If it’s not enough for you you can plan to do the canyon of Morghe – Maglia with it’s long rappeling up to 60 meters high.
