WELCOME MEASURES AT GECKOS DURING THE COVID19 HEALTH CRISIS VALID UNTIL JUNE 2, 2020

Since Monday, May 11, we have been authorized to offer so-called APN activities (Outdoor Activities) including Canyoning and Rock Climbing.

As part of a gradual deconfinement, our activities will be adapted to meet the directives of the Ministry of Sports:

We are fortunate to have our local in the Gorges du Loup with:

Private parking lot.

An outdoor reception area.

Sink and soap available.

Canyoning

  • Groups of 8 people maximum, plus the guide.
  • Participants must have their own mask for the welcome phase and the briefing if physical distance is not possible.
  • Observe the safety barrier gestures during access and return.
  • Avoid touching his face.
  • Disinfect your hands before, during and after the activity as often as possible (water + soap or hydro-alcoholic gel).
  • In the case of collective transport (shuttle), 2 people per row maximum and wearing a mask for individual customers not living in the same household, otherwise no restriction.
  • During the activity the guide will wear a mask if it is necessary to stay less than one meter from the participants.
  • The technical equipment (harness, helmet) will be quarantined for 72 hours after each use, in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations. No chemical product used on our PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Neoprene suits will also be quarantined for 72 hours, the use of a non-aggressive virucidal product for the skin corresponding to standard EN 14 476 of September 2013 is also entirely possible.
  • We will adapt the choice of route and progression in the canyons to the technical and physical level of each of the participants.
  • Vehicle cleaning and disinfection.
  • We will offer routes that allow the group to progress while being spaced.
  • We will choose routes that allow for comfortable relays and distance between participants.
  • We will favor outings with family or people from the same household. We also propose to privatize our outings.
  • If we make up the group with people from outside the same household, a minimum distance will be kept (1m) between people who are not from the same household.

Rock Climbing

  • Groups of 10 people maximum including supervisor.
  • Participants must have their mask and hydroalcoholic gel in order to disinfect their hands even without soap and water.
  • Observe the safety barrier gestures during access and return.
  • Avoid touching his face.
  • Disinfect your hands before, during and after the activity as often as possible (water + soap or hydro-alcoholic gel).
  • The material provided will be individual and must not be loaned or exchanged between participants.
  • Appointments will be made directly on the activity site.
  • Depending on the group, the health protocol may be reduced, if the whole group comes from the same household for example.
  • During the activity the guide will wear a mask if it is necessary to stay less than one meter from the participants.
