Via Ferrata of Tende – Roya Valley – French Riviera
Via Ferrata de Tende is a perfect introduction to vertical hiking …
The Via Ferrata of the Counts of Lascaris in Tende offers alternating walks, crossing bridges such as monkey bridges and zip line. The principle of Via Ferrata is to move on metal bars installed on the cliff with hands and feet. It is an intermediary between the pure climbing and the adventures or accrobranches.
This Via Ferrata in the Roya Valley is a great spot for an initiation, with family or in a group.
We propose this ascent at the rate of 50 € per person, the time of ascension depends on the evolution of the group of course but it takes about 3 hours to make the loop. This Via Ferrata is made up of two distinct parts, the right lane is really easy and will suit both children and families. The left side is more classic in terms of difficulty but is very good for an introduction with adults or children over 12 years .. You just need to have a sports outfit and good shoes …
The Via Ferrata overlooks the village of TENDE and offers beautiful perspectives on the roya valley.
The rates do not take into account the entrance fee of Via Ferrata, fee due to the municipality of Tende:
- Adult rate: 3,5€/person
- Group rate: 2,5€/person (from 6 persons)
- Teen rate: 1€/person (from 12 to 18 years old)
ATTENTION: The minimum size is 1.30 meters for the Via Ferrata of Tende.
