Via cordatas on the French Riviera

What is via cordata?

via cordata, Named also via corda is the « easy » entry to vertical word. it’s an activity between rock climbing, hiking and via ferrata.

Those courses take vertical path in the rock like in via ferrata but with less equipment, there are no iron bars or shelters but only rocks and vegetation. You’ll go as when rock climbing, attached with a rope of course and go all together what we call « rope tied ».

Vertical hiking on the french riviera in the backcountry of nice, cannes and monaco.

Via Cordata is a mixed of easy rock climbing and via ferrata. it consisted in a journey where we are all tied up with on the same rope and go all together. Nothing is very technical, everybody can try if you’re not afraid of height…

We offer different courses depending on where you stay, how sportive you are and weather of course.

On some courses we’ll be able to try rappelling, going down along the rope…

Our hikes take about 3 hours (just to have an idea, that can change a lot depending on the group), we do departures ay 9 am or 1.30 pm depending on the season.

We offer three different parcours:

The Via Cordata of La Colle sur Loup
The Via Cordata of Vence
The Red Route in Saint Jeannet

Via Cordata Cap Dramont Esterel - French Riviera
Via Cordata of La Colle sur Loup - French Riviera
