Cuébris Canyon – A Wild Immersion in the Estéron

Canyon de Cuébris – A Wild Adventure in the Estéron Valley

Nestled in the Estéron Valley, near the village of Roquestéron, the Cuébris Canyon offers a unique canyoning experience in a preserved environment. Just 45 minutes from Nice, this hidden gem of the Alpes-Maritimes is the perfect opportunity to escape into authentic nature, passing through the charming villages of Gilette and Roquestéron before reaching Cuébris.

An Unforgettable Descent in a Preserved Setting

This little-known canyon captivates with its wild character and natural beauty. From the start of the adventure, you’ll be immersed in a spectacular setting with a unique 10-meter rappel from an old bridge, spider-web style, where your feet won’t touch the rocks.

The highlight of the descent is an impressive 25-meter waterfall, an exciting challenge for thrill-seekers. Don’t worry, smaller rappels earlier on in the descent will help prepare you for this grand finale. Between rappels, you’ll encounter walking sections, swimming passages, and a few jumps into the often turquoise water, a signature feature of the Estéron Valley.

An Adventure for All Levels

The Cuébris Canyon is accessible to groups of friends and families, even for those new to canyoning. The challenges are modular and adaptable to different levels, making this outing as captivating as it is educational.

Discover the Cuébris Canyon and let yourself be surprised by this off-the-beaten-path adventure, just a stone’s throw from the French Riviera.
