CANYONING DESCENT IN THE IMBERGUET GORGE – VÉSUBIE VALLEY

A vertical and playful adventure just steps away from Nice

Discover the Imberguet Gorge: A wild and technical canyoning adventure in the heart of the Vésubie Valley

The Imberguet Gorge, located at the entrance of the Vésubie Valley, is a must-visit canyon for thrill-seekers and lovers of wild landscapes. This complete course combines technical skills and enjoyment in a spectacular natural setting.

A technical and accessible canyon

The Imberguet Canyon stands out for its numerous waterfalls up to 20 meters high, ideal for practicing various rappel techniques. You’ll also find jumps and natural slides that add a playful touch to this vertical adventure. This wild and narrow site will delight adventurers in search of discovery.

An experience to prioritize at the start of the season

Be aware that this canyon often dries up in the summer, making it an ideal outing to plan at the start of the season. It’s also an excellent backup option when weather or hydrological conditions prevent access to other canyoning routes.

A simple and convenient organization

With just a 5-minute approach walk and a quick return to the cars, the Imberguet offers a smooth and enjoyable experience. The adventure begins at the Pont Durandy parking lot, where we will start. At the end of the course, a short shuttle will take you back to retrieve the vehicles left at the starting point.

Canyoning for all intermediate levels

Accessible from 12 years old, the Imberguet Gorge is perfect for groups of friends or families looking for a sporty and refreshing activity. This intermediate canyon, while vertical and technical, is still suitable for motivated beginners.

To extend your adventure, you can explore the Bollène Canyon, located a few kilometers away, for a day even richer in emotions and landscapes.

Let yourself be tempted by the Imberguet Canyon and explore an exceptional natural site, combining fun, technicality, and accessibility in the Vésubie Valley.
