Canyoning – White water hiking in the Gorges du Loup
The Gorges du Loup canyon is one of the most popular sites for canyoning in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Côte d’Azur.
There are no mandatory obstacle in the canyon of the gorges du loup – everything can be avoided.

The Gorges du Loup canyon is an ideal introduction to canyoning on the Cote d’Azur. Located near Grasse, it’s the most well known whitewater scramble (called « randonnée aquatique » in french) in the Alpes Maritimes. The Gorges du Loup canyon is a bit of a choose your own adventure in that there’s always an escape route if you choose not to do a jump or a slide. In the other way, if you want more adventure, there are some lovely jumps and slides, and the possibility to discover abseiling up to 10 meters.

The Gorges du Loup is an easy way down, you can choose what you want to do as for jumps and slides.
The descent is suitable for kids from 8 years old if they are use to swim and jumps in swimming pool (Weight > 25 kg).
Your guide will show you water falls and naturals slides and you’ll choose what you want to do, totally secured…
There is rappelling (abseiling), it’s sliding along the rock holding a rope. Everything will be explain to you by your guide of course. It’s a canyon suitable for beginners.

Go to Tourettes sur Loup on the D2210 and go on to Pont du Loup. At the entrance of Pont du Loup turn right on the D6 in the direction of Courmes. Drive 6-7 mins to the second bridge and you’ll see our car park and office.
Reach Bar sur Loup on the D2210 and go on to Pont du Loup. At the exit of Pont du Loup turn left on the D6 in the direction of Courmes. Drive 6-7 mins to the second bridge and you’ll see our car park and office.

Exit highway A8 at Cagnes sur Mer and take the D336 and D436 to reach la Colle sur Loup. Go up the Loup valley taking the D6 up to Pont du Loup and still go straight up on the D6 in the direction of Courmes. Drive 6-7 mins to the second bridge and you’ll see our car park and office.
